I think selectors should watch the 1st innings played by Dravid in Perth and then they should decide. His 93 in the first innings helped India to put up a comfortable score against Australia. Selectors should have considered him for one-day especially with Australia.

This decision could affect the fourth test against australia. These players could not perform at their best in the fourth test.

Ponting & Gilchrist lost their wicket, India enough to wrap up the contest in the 4th day at perth. India win by 72 runs.

All it came possible when India took the wicket of Ricky Ponting, which is a crucial one as far as india is concerned. Because he is the one who scored the maximum in wining matches at a average of above 90.

Here is how they got Ricky. After 8 overs of Ishat Sharma, Kumble thought of having him in the later end. But Shewag insisted and asked him to continue with Ishant and to give him a another over because still Ponting was there in the crease. This was the crucial decision and it worked fine.
